On the 8th of May 2020 I started my 'at home' residency with the Museum of Brisbane. It will continue until the 19th of June.

For the residency I am creating a series of paintings that responds to the idea of 'crisis', which Australia is now experiencing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and is not new to Indigenous Australians.

Indeed, for Indigenous Australians the idea of ‘the new normal’ is about 250 years old.

I will explore how the current imposition of regulations has historical parallels in Queensland’s history, and reference issues of colonial violence, public health, security, and public relations.
